Dana Boulukos is a middle school science teacher- and not just any teacher, she was my 6th grade teacher! It’s important to stop and reflect on growth. Ms. B and I reflect on how education has changed over the last couple years. She shares her experience teaching during the pandemic and what the future of education looks like. We also discuss traveling on a budget and investing in the education traveling can provide. Ms. B made my travel bug come to life when I was just 12 years old. Her travel advice has guided me through the years. I am thankful for all the teachers who accepted me for who I am. They inspire me to continue down my own path! ----- sabbatical: a period of paid leave granted to a university teacher or other worker for study or travel, traditionally one year for every seven years worked.
